You're never fully dressed without a smile!

We drew our inspiration from the ancient mesoamerican cultures. The features that caught our attention were their use of vibrant colors, geometric shapes, feathers, and the way they accentuate the female hips. Our garment is meant to interpret all these features through the use of the plastic strapping material as well as represent the tribal style of these cultures.

Concept Statement:

Rachel and I were inspired by the Mesoamericans, specifically by their use of colors. We wanted to create a collection that was wearable but still had the influence of their dramatic dress.
