I was inspired by flowers and the springtime. Diane von Furstenberg’s designs were also a source of inspiration for my own collection. The prints that she uses and the silhouette of her wrap dresses were the main sources of inspiration that I drew from her. I wanted to incorporate floral prints and floral colors for the fabric throughout the collection. I knew that I wanted to design a collection of rompers because I had never made any.

I was inspired by the springtime and Diane von Furstenberg’s designs for my own design. I was inspired by the prints that she uses and the silhouette of her wrap dresses. I wanted to use a floral print fabric. Once I found the perfect fabric, I knew that I wanted to design and create a romper. Although, a romper would be challenging for me, since I had never made shorts before and I am not great at sleeves. But, I knew that I could do it. As I stepped out of my comfort zone for this design I felt like my style grew. I hope that my design style keeps blooming.
